This year’s theme is “The New Empiricism”. The conference aims to examine and evaluate the impact upon many different areas of linguistic theory that is resulting from numerous emerging sources of data, including increasingly large electronic corpora, the Web, advances in neurobiology, and the wide range of experimental data obtained from human subjects.
